Japan Act on Protection of Personal Information (APPI)

Unity Labblend operates in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (個人情報の保護に関する法律), as amended in April 2022. As an entity providing business consulting services from our office at 〒220-0004 Kanagawa, Yokohama-shi, Nishi-ku, Kitasaiwai 2-8-13, we are classified as a personal information handling business operator under the Act.

When you submit a request through our contact form or arrange consulting engagements, we process only the categories of data described in this policy. We do not transfer personal information to third parties without your prior consent except where required by Japanese law, where necessary for the protection of human life, health or property, or where cooperating with national or local government authorities carrying out affairs prescribed by law.

Under the APPI, you have the right to request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, cessation of use, or cessation of provision to third parties of your retained personal data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at +81 45-314-6728 or through our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable period, not exceeding two weeks from receipt of your request.

Records relating to advisory sessions are retained for 5 years following the conclusion of the consulting engagement, after which they are securely deleted. Cookie consent preferences are stored in your browser and may be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Unity Lab Blend governing your use of this website and any services provided. By accessing the website or engaging with any of our services, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

If you are accessing this site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

3. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

This website and all content on it is provided on an "as is" basis. Unity Lab Blend makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Unity Lab Blend's total liability to you in connection with these terms or the use of this site shall not exceed ¥10,000 or the amount paid by you for the relevant service, whichever is higher.
3.3
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising from your use of this site or its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
3.4
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations where that failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, infrastructure failures, or government action.

4. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage parties to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us through the details on our Contact page. We aim to respond to dispute notices within 10 working days.
4.3
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining terms shall continue in full force.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
